DI (deionized) water spray guns are designed to delivery highly purified water in a controlled and precise way, in order to clean sensitive parts and surfaces, without introducing contaminants. The DI water spray gun is connected to a source of deionized water. This is water that’s had most of its minerals removed – such as sodium, calcium, iron and copper – through the deionization process. The deionized process makes the water that comes out of the DI water spray gun extremely pure, with low conductivity and no dissolved solids.

The water in a DI water spray gun is typically pressurized before it reaches the gun.
