The Model ET-818 Resistance Test Kit is a low-cost kit designed for measuring surface, point-to-point and point-to-ground resistance. The kit includes the Model 880 Autoranging Resistance Indicator, two (2) Model 850 Resistance Probes, a Model 256 Utility Wiring Verifier(115VAC version only), Ground Plane and Carrying Case.

The heart of the kit is the Model 880 Resistance Indicator which features Autoranging 10E 12 Range (10E3 to 10E5 @ 10 Volts & 10E6 to 10E12 @ 100 Volts), parallel bar electrodes, output jacks to connect optional probes, CE Compliance and 9-Volt Battery Power. Two (2) Model 850 industry compliant 5-lb resistance probes allow the user to make point-to-point and point-to-ground measurements. The Model 256 assures the availability of a proper ground.
