This stainless steel supply cabinet – ideal for cleanroom environments and labs – is fabricated from type 304, 18 gauge stainless steel. This is an important feature when comparing stainless steel instrument cabinets. Type 304 stainless steel has a higher chromium and lower carbon content, which decreases the stainless steel's susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. Type 304 stainless steel also contains molybdenum, which increases both general corrosion resistance and resistance to pitting when chloride and disinfectant solutions are used.

The lesser grade type 430 stainless steel is usually used in kitchens or less critical areas, and is magnetic. If the supply cabinet will be used near electronic equipment, a type 430 stainless steel could cause electrical interference.

This heavy-duty floor cabinet comes with four stainless steel shelves, providing maximum storage for instruments and supplies.  The shelves can be adjusted every ½”, and the sloping top on the supply cabinet helps prevent dust collection. The stainless steel cabinet also has a 4-inch high toe kick, which is 3 inches deep.

Through the ¼” clear safety glass doors, you can see all of the contents of the cabinet, without opening the hinged doors. A locking-door latch allows you to control access to instruments, equipment, and supplies.

Thanks to the type 304 stainless steel and 18 gauge strength, this instrument and supply cabinet is ideal for cleanrooms and labs.
