Specimen Pass Through Cabinets – Type 304 Stainless Steel - Turntable – 10½” x 6” Opening – AS-10-0515

Specimen pass through cabinets have a turntable cylinder large enough to receive objects up to 5 7/8"W x 10 7/16"H x 10"D. The turntable rotates 360 degrees between catch stops in either direction. Pass through has a fully enclosed compartment with only its 6"x 10 1/2" (152mm x 267mm) pass opening accessible, preventing any line-of-sight through the unit to provide user privacy. The stainless steel self-lubricating ball bearing plates mounted on top and bottom allow the unit to rotate easily. Bullet catches prevent the turntable from rotating too quickly. Turntable retaining door shall be hung on side with a 3/16" diameter stainless steel multi-staked piano hinge and shall be held closed with a tumbler lock. Manufactured from type 304 stainless steel with frame 18 gauge and trim 22 gauge. All exposed surfaces have a satin finish and protected during shipment with PVC film easily removable after installation. The trim shall adjust for wall thickness of 3 3/8" (86mm) minimum to 7" (178mm) maximum and shall be 1" (25mm) wide and returning 1/4" (6mm) to finished wall. The unit is made of one piece construction with no face miters or visible fasteners or welding. There is a lock on the cylinder that allows you to remove the cylinder for easy cleaning.

After putting the specimen container in the turntable cylinder you then manually rotate the turntable either right or left, 180 degrees, so that the container can be retrieved by a technician. You have service access by using the key to unlock and open the door.

The specimen pass through cabinets will ship UPS or FedEx. The pass through ships collect or prepay and add to the invoice. If shipping collect, add your freight account number in the “Comments Box” when checking out. Customer is responsible for the freight charge. This specimen pass through cabinet weighs about 24 lbs.
