Fire Rated Pass Throughs - 1 1/2 Hour - Stainless Steel - CAP-18WFR-15R-478-SST

A pass through acts as an airlock to accommodate the transfer of materials between a cleanroom and another space. A fire rated pass through is the safe solution for facilities and laboratories to transport flammable substances in and out of their cleanroom environment. If the pass through will be installed in a fire rated wall the door of the pass through must be fire rated.  Only the door of a fire rated pass through is fire rated. The size of a fire rated pass through is limited to the size of the fire rated door.  Each door and door frame is painted steel, plated steel butt hinges, with a plated steel lever style latch. The door and frame has a UL/ETL/WH listed or equivalent for a 1 1/2 hour rating. These fire rated pass throughs are required in some cases to meet state and local codes. 

FIRE RATED DOOR SPECIFICATIONS
- (1) 90 minute fire rated door 
- 10 inch x 10 inch clear wire safety glass viewing window
- Steel butt hinge
- Chrome plated door handle
- An aluminum surface mount door closer
- (1) Door and frame are UL/ETL/WH listed or equivalent, painted steel, plated steel butt hinges, plated steel lever style latch

FIRE RATED PASS THROUGH FEATURES
- Formed and stitch-welded type 304 #4 finish stainless steel construction
- Aluminum surface mount door closer installed on the fire rated door
- 90 minute white painted steel fire rated door with a white painted steel door frame, 10"x10" clear wire safety glass viewing window, steel butt hinge and chrome plated door handle.
- Stainless steel continuous flush mount hinge (opposite fire rated door)
- Clear tempered safety glass viewing window (opposite fire rated door)
- Type 316 stainless steel lever compression door latch (opposite fire rated door)
- Fire rated mechanical interlock
- 1 1/2 Hour fire rated single door for 4 7/8" thick fire wall
- Non fire rated stainless steel single door on opposite side
- Mechanical interlock hardware is mounted at the top of the pass through. Reduces the interior height by 2 inches
- Silicone bulb gasket

Shipping Instructions: The fire rated pass through price does not include freight. The pass through ships on a motor freight carrier and the cost of shipping will be added to your order or can ship collect. Specify the carrier and account number in the box at checkout. Call customer service if a freight quote is required before the pass through is shipped. Indicate to customer service if your facility will require a lift gate or if you have a dock high receiving area. Please include delivery point of contact name and phone number.
