The bouffant cap is a spun bonded olefin fabric that is made from high density polyethylene fibers that offer unique qualities of excellent barrier protection and strength. Tyvek is lightweight and highly resistant to tears and punctures. Spun bonded olefin is strong, lightweight, flexible, smooth, low linting, opaque and resistant to water and chemicals. This makes Tyvek an excellent choice for clean room apparel used in ISO 5 and higher cleanrooms. Tyvek has antistatic properties and can be used in areas concerned with static control.
