Protective Suit Campaign takes The Big Bang Theory!

It’s not everyday that a women owned small business breaks the barrier onto hit TV shows, we were lucky to do just that with our protective suit campaign!

Recently, we have been working very hard to improve our visibility for keywords “protective suit” and “Ebola protective suit” through online searches. We have been striving to educate consumers on the difference between the two types of suits and their various uses.

Our SEO (Search Engine Optimization) campaign strategies and hard work paid off when we began to notice an increase in views and sessions to our website as well as interest in protective suits. The campaign began with the tension around the Ebola outbreak in the United States and our passion to inform and protect consumers. We created new landing pages for these target keywords, built support, and created new relevant content on our website. The new category pages included posts and information about the differences between Ebola protective suits and a standard protective suit. Within weeks, these items managed to make their way to the top lists of Google search engine results.

We began seeing the result of the new protective suit Google search results when we received a call from the top hit CBS show, The Big Bang Theory! (You can imagine our excitement when we received the call, many of us being fans of the show ourselves). They said that they were going to film an episode where some of the characters of the show would be wearing clean room protective suits! The episode was titled “The Clean Room Infiltration” and aired on December 11, 2014. This episode featured the three main characters, wearing protective clean room suits in a clean room environment. It was amazing to be able to see all of our hard work pay off on The Big Bang Theory!

When starting the campaign, we never would have dreamed that we would be getting a call from Hollywood! The main goal of the campaign was, and still is, to inform consumers on the differences between Ebola protective suits and standard protective suits for a clean room environment, Hollywood was definitely a nice plus though! It has been amazing to see the impact that an effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) campaign can have, and has had, on our business.
